La Jolla Farms

La Jolla Farms initially began as an equestrian community, with homes constructed in the '70s and '80s.

Most homes have since been torn down or completely remodeled. The stunning ocean views and wonderful sandy beaches make the area incredibly desirable. La Jolla Farms has since transformed into an affluent coastal community. 

The neighborhood's location is by the Torrey Pines Gliderport, where hang gliders jump off the bluffs. Another neighborhood to mention within La Jolla Farms is Blackhorse. This small community is formed on leased land owned by UCSD and has "newer" homes for La Jolla. It is among the few gated La Jolla condominiums. The homes' prices reflect smaller attached townhomes —a great start-up option for younger families or short-term investment.
